These earrings are 1/2” x ¾” rectangles with brass circle findings, hypoallergenic ear wires, and clear earring backs.
The designs are a collaboration between Fishe Wear and PakHye Goods for this special collection of jewelry inspired by the fly fishing community.
PakHye Goods jewelry uses brass as their main metal which is hand-cut with a jewelers saw. A special in-house created resist is used to hand paint each image onto the brass pieces and then dipped into an acid bath to etch the designs. The pieces are tumbled, and a patina is added to enhance the details of the designs. The brass is then filed and sanded smooth with a topcoat of clear resin added to protect the finish.
