This skirt is warm! It's a snug fit, but I'd rather have that than the skirt turning around when I walk. I am a solid small, so the medium would be spinning on me unless I wore thicker fleece tights. The skirt is fleece lined, so the tights and skirt would stick to each other. This skirt is great to wear over my base layer after skiing as the ski pants get a bit too warm on the drive home after hitting the slopes. Thanks for a great looking skirt!

The exterior of this skirt is less flexible than I expected it to be. More like the outside of ski pants. I guess that’s what soft-shell meant. Duh! That said it will be great for outdoor activities like sitting on a rock when hiking, much better than the other knit wool skirts I wear over leggings. It will be tough enough to take a lot of punishment and not snag and warm enough, with the fleece lining, to handle winter activities in Western North Carolina where I live. I ordered a large based on my measurements. I’m 5’5” & 140 lbs. The waist is about an inch too big but it still fits okay in the hips and if I wear it so the waist is lower on my hips it fits fine, just hangs a little longer.

Love the quality & design. Only issue for me is fit. I’m an old standard size 8 medium. The medium I got was more of a 10. Way too big on me but I should add, I have less ”hippage” than many women. I will pass it on to someone else. It could also have been an older sizing style too. I’ve had it for at least 2 years. Love all my Fishe leggings!

If you love a skirt for your leggings this skirt is for you. Well made, Great pocket in the back just perfect for stashing things. Great for ice fishing, riding in the floatplane and just hanging around the house. If you want a comfortable, warm skirt you need to get this one. In Alaska you need function & warm.
