Reflecting on 2015: Thank You Fishe Fans!

The new year is great opportunity to look back on the past year. The past year has been monumental for FisheWear – it’s our first year in business!

In early 2015, Linda Leary launched FisheWear in Anchorage, Alaska. She was tired of limited options when it came to fly fishing clothes. Linda wanted quality products that had style and function for women to wear while fly fishing. She created a team of people to make her dreams reality. Her team included designers, manufacturers, web developers, research partners, a world-class photographer, friends and family.

With all of their help, FisheWear came to life. The company is still blossoming as the year comes to close. In August 2015, FisheWear’s online shop opened with quality leggings, headwear, jackets, shirts and waterproof bags for sale.

Linda succeeded in creating her first stylish fishing base layer. FisheWear leggings are a showstopper with bright artistic details printed on a quality Italian fabric. The leggings are manufactured in the United States (as well as our FisheWear Neckwear!). Unlike any leggings on the market, FisheWear brings functional style to fishing camp for women.

Linda is working hard to bring new products to the FisheWear shop. We promise you won’t be disappointed by what is next!
