How Fishe Supported Casting for Recovery
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In October 2024, Fishe partnered with Casting for Recovery, an organization that brings women affected by breast cancer together through free fly-fishing retreats.
Throughout that month, Fishe donated 30% of REDtro Salmon purchases to support the organization’s work on and around the water.

About Casting for Recovery
Casting for Recovery offers free fly-fishing retreats for women with breast cancer, including women in treatment and recovery.
The retreats combine fly-fishing instruction with wellness, emotional support, shared experience, and time in nature. Participants do not need previous fly-fishing experience or their own fishing gear.
It is a mission that feels deeply connected to what Fishe believes about the restorative power of water and community.

During the October 2024 campaign, Fishe donated 30% of purchases from the REDtro Salmon Collection to Casting for Recovery.
The print’s joyful mix of pink and retro color gave our community a visible way to wear pink and support the mission throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Shoppers were also invited to tag @FisheWear while wearing REDtro Salmon and helping us spread the word.
