In 2015, Linda Leary stood in a glacial stream with a bold idea and a pile of sticky notes. The goal? Redesign the way women experience fishing—starting with what we wear. Ten years later, Fishe is a movement.

Outside the Lines, On Every River
This was the year of our best-selling bags, viral sunshirts, and a growing ambassador program.
We hit 50+ retailers, ran sold-out Women’s Fly Fishing trips, and launched a new video: Outside the Lines—the Fishe story in motion.

2023
The Patterns Keep Coming
Our collection expanded to over a dozen unique fish-inspired designs.
We dropped Radiant Redfish, FisheWaters, and more—bringing boldness to boats, yoga mats, airports, and offices alike.

2021–2022
Weathering the Waters
Through supply chain waves and a global pause, we held steady.
We used the time to build community, tell more stories, and double down on what matters: quality, creativity, and connection.


2019–2020
Growing Bold
We expanded our line, opened our flagship showroom, and started partnering with artists and guides across the U.S.
Prints like Brookie, Steel My Heart, and Boho Bass joined the rotation.
We also launched Wading Belts—because who says your gear can’t match your vibe?

Our First Big Collab
Fishe x Orvis launches with a co-branded sling pack in Groovy Grayling.
Proof that big names were paying attention. It wasn’t just about products anymore—it was about creating a place for women in fishing culture.

Hello, World
Fishe makes waves at The Fly Fishing Show in Denver and ICAST in Orlando.
What started in Alaska begins expanding into fly shops nationwide.
We weren’t just “the new brand.”
We were the brand that finally saw women.

2016
The Year We Asked for Help—and You Showed Up
Kickstarter goal: $50,000
Actual result: $66,000+
Fueled by your belief, we launched our first merino wool line and introduced the now-iconic Troutrageous Rainbow print.
Oh, and our very first employee joined the crew.


2015
One Sketch, All Heart
Linda files the first business license for Fishe® Wear. From a corner of her office (and occasionally the back of her Subaru), she launches the first online store with a single mission: functional, fashionable gear for women who fish.
Anchorage's first Fishe showroom follows soon after.
