AN ALASKA TRADITION
So, What Exactly Is the PFD?
PFD stands for Permanent Fund Dividend. Each year, eligible Alaska residents can receive a dividend through the State of Alaskaβs Permanent Fund Dividend program.
Itβs one of those uniquely Alaska traditions β part state history, part annual ritual, and very much part of life up here.
For 2026, the PFD is $1,200, including a $200 energy relief payment.

TWO ALASKA STORIES
PFD Season, the Fishe Way
Fishe was born in Alaska with a simple belief: women deserved outdoor gear that worked hard without asking them to disappear into it.
What started in Anchorage grew into a community of women who fish, hike, travel, explore, and show up outside in their own way.
So when PFD season rolls around, this one feels a little personal. Itβs a chance to celebrate Alaska β and maybe put a little of that dividend toward your next adventure.
