Welcoming the NEW Fishe Storefront in Downtown Anchorage!

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, Apr. 26, 2023 – Fishe Wear, the popular women’s fishing apparel company, is excited to announce the opening of its new storefront in downtown Anchorage. Located on the corner of 4th and G Street, the shop is conveniently situated in the heart of Anchorage’s bustling town center. Fishe is looking forward to a busy summer providing women’s fishing clothing and accessories to out-of-towners and Alaskans alike. 

Fishe Wear, which has been in business since 2015, has been dreaming of opening a second location for some time now. While many locals know and love their showroom in Midtown Anchorage, the vast majority of tourists miss out on an in-person shopping experience as they breeze through the city on a tight itinerary. The downtown storefront, which is conveniently located in the midst of many busy hotels and restaurants, will give visitors a chance to stock up on gifts, gear, and other fishing-related necessities. 

“We are thrilled to open our new store in downtown Anchorage and share our Alaskan-inspired designs with locals and tourists alike,” said Linda Leary, founder and CEO of Fishe Wear. “Our goal is to inspire more women to get out on the water and to feel comfortable and confident while doing it. Opening a second location only increases our visibility to even more female anglers and outdoorswomen.” 

To celebrate the grand opening, Fishe invites Anchorageites to join them this Friday, April 28th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at 704 West 4th Avenue Anchorage, AK 99501 for a special event. The evening will feature special treats and refreshments, a ribbon cutting ceremony with founder Linda Leary, and a special giveaway for all attendees. Fishe Wear’s downtown store is open Thursday through Saturday from
